Welcome to Emotional Freedom
Take the next step towards Self-leadership by allowing me to support you with taking responsibility of your life today for an even better tomorrow.
Who I am
My exploration, study of, and understanding of my mind and emotions began after I sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury. While my desire to be a coach and support people who want to find themSelves and live more emotionally free came after the struggle of learning to live with my emotions instead of continuing to live and act as them. As I worked through disidentifying and finding space from the anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts, a growing need came to do whatever I could to support those who feel as lost, alone, and desperate as I was. My coaching combines the skills I learned from working as a peer support specialist for over 4 years, the knowledge and beneficial perspective I acquired from becoming Internal Family Systems (IFS) Informed, the curious compassion and understanding I continue to find for myself, and the lived experience of having loved ones who took their own lives. I know what it feels like to be the victim to your own circumstances, have the false but felt sense of identity tied to some emotions, and not finding the right support or relief from feeling so helpless, hopeless, broken, and unworthy that suicide becomes an option. I also know that the human mind can be rewired to take advantage of what is actually possible, and that You chose to be here and can start developing Your Emotional Freedom today.
What I offer
I support You through a 12-week program as You become more aware of Your emotional world and Your barriers to emotional freedom.
The program will help You:
Learn Internal Family Systems (IFS) to better recognize and relate to Your emotional reactions (Parts) and strengthen Self-compassion
Reconnect and develop Your the relationship with Your heart and mind
Notice Your inner critic patterns and apply healthier, empowering, thought substitutions
Increase Self-acceptance and become more aware of and heal shame
Develop emotional boundaries, Self-care, and Self-leadership
Here is an example of a single week within the 12-week program:
Mantra: “Your worth is not something to earn — it is something to remember.”
Coaching Focus:
Create emotional space to listen to inner experiences with openness. “If this Part were a friend, I would…”
Self-Practice or Journaling:
Describe what Self feels like in Your body and emotions. Be specific.
Weekly Reflection:
What shifted when You asked Your protectors instead of ignoring or fighting them?
Change Your Relationship:
Inner Critic: “You’re not ready.”
IFS Reframe: “I notice a Part of me (likely a Manager or Firefighter protector) is attempting to keep me safe from perceived danger, pain, or overwhelm.”
Healthier Thought: “What are you trying to protect me from?” Or, “I hear you, I appreciate you for trying to keep me safe, and you no longer have to do that. We will go at a pace that feels right, building our capacity to handle things together, with the Self in the lead.”
Don’t stop looking for answers
For those who are feeling lost, empty, alone, suicidal, and more, and do not know why or what to do, I understand what that feels like. This is not to say I know exactly what You’re going through. Your experience is Yours. It is unique and words may never be able to properly describe it. Keep going. There are answers, there is hope, I can help You find it, and I am happy to answer any questions You have.
These books gave me answers and directed me towards healing. They helped me better understand my internal voice and introduced me to the reasons why my mind developed the way it did; Childhood Trauma, Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN), and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), and why I felt so helpless to it.
